Integrated systems
In recent years, service providers, agencies, industry associations and scientists have developed a variety of systems enabling multidimensional control and/or evaluation of corporate communications.
Most methods combine a range of basic methods, evaluation and value addition approaches such as media analysis, surveys and scorecards. They differ in terms of the applications (internal/external communication) and values calculated (indexes, benchmarks, monetary outflow). These standardized methods offer advantages such as rapid implementability, but are by their nature not organization-specific in design and may therefore require adaptation. Most of the methods are proprietary and available in a package with consultation services:
